Current Info:	Since high school I came to Galveston to attend college for 1 1/2 years, moved back to MP, then to Dallas for a year, back to MP for a year, finally landing in Galveston permantely in 1992. Recently, I spent 8 years working for a local travel agency doing group travel and foreign independent tours. I met my future husband Dwayne (PeeWee to everyone down here) at the Bunny Roast (a barbeque cook-off Easter weekend) in 1999. We finally married on July 7, 2007. Our son, Dwayne Jr., was born in May 2002. I also have a step-daughter, Dlayna, who is a freshman at Galveston College. I returned to college full-time at University of Houston-Clear Lake in the fall of 2004. I just graduated in December 2007 with a BS in Elementary Education. I am currently substitute teaching in Galveston and Texas City ISDs while waiting for a full time teaching position to become available in Galveston. Dwayne Sr. owns his own construction and remodeling company here on the island. Dwayne, Jr. is in kindergarten at LA Morgan Elem. in the Two-Way Immersion Program (he's being taught in Spanish and English). I loved growing up in MP and miss my family still there. But, I also love living in Galveston, our house is only two blocks from the beach.
